Roros to Trondheim, Norway

   Camping outside of Røros, the sun was starting to come up at 4:00 when we were headed to catch our train.

   Our host in Trondheim is a teacher at a local "Forest Kindergarten"  where students spend 4 hours a day learning and playing in the woods.

   Having camped another night in the rain, we spent our day researching traditional log buildings and conservation efforts with local carpenters and the director of preservation efforts in Røros, a UNESCO world heritage site.

Trondheim to Roros, Norway

   We had a lovely walk around downtown Trondheim with our host.  After warming up with a delicious bowl of homemade fish soup, we hopped the train to the historic copper mining town of Røros.
